ASHURE

Ingredients (serves 4)
50 gr beans, 
50 gr chickpeas,
50 gr wheat,
100 gr dried figs,
100 gr dried apricot
100 gr sultanas (dried grapes)
1,5 glass of sugar,
1 teaspoonful of rose water,
teaspoonful of clove water,
4 spoonful of crushed walnuts,
4 spoonful of crushed pistachios,
4 spoonful of desiccated coconut,
1,5 glass of rice flour,
12 glasses of water

Preparing
Soak beans, chickpeas and wheat in seperate cups, a night before cooking. Drain and cook them with 4 glasses of water in seperate saucepans a each has got different cooking times. Put cooked beans, chickpeas and grains of wheat in a big saucepan together. Add chopped dried figs and apricots and grapes then boil for 20 munites. In a bowl soak rice flour wit water until you get the right consistency. Then add rose and clove water., and boil. After adding sugar, boil 5 munites more and turn the cooker off. Pour into individual bowls, sprinkle crushed pistachios, walnuts and coconuts. Serve cold.
